How much medicine can be taken with?
There should be as many as you personally may need during your stay in another country. But no more than 5 packs of medicine for each item.
Liquid medications for traveling
You may cross the border with bottles of no more than 100 ml in baggage or hand luggage. It should be previously packed in transparent sealed bags. If we are talking about plane flight, there are safety nuances, they need to be clarified directly with the carrier company.
If you are going abroad and undergoing a course of treatment that cannot be interrupted, if medications that are prescribed contain prohibited substances, you need to have these documents with you:
- medical card (copy);
- pharmacy check.
A certificate from the attending physician with the specified diagnosis and the need to take drugs, its amount and the period of admission at the time of the trip.
Documents must be signed by the attending physician with the stamp of the healthcare institution.
Such drugs must be declared in writing at customs.
Conventional medications, including antibiotics, insulin, inhalers for asthmatics, anti-allergic, can be carried in the required amount in hand luggage.

If you have confirmation that the transporting drugs are prescribed by a doctor, then you have every right to travel with them with the mandatory written declaration at customs and the provision of medical documents for the appointment.
